MUA haul!

Since the discovery and obsession of MUA blushes featured in my December favourites i have been very curious as to the other products that MUA sell. Many of the things that they sell start at just £1 and the most expensive was an £8 eye shadow pallet. Now their are certain products that i did stay clear of today which were lip sticks and foundations as i do believe that you pay for what you get with these but many other produces such as blush, eye shadow and lip pencils do not apply to this rule. I mean common, my favourite ever pressed powder is the collection 2000 one which you can pick up super cheep!

3 in 1 eXtreme contour liner - angled shadow liner in 'Gun Metal' shade 8

I was quite intrigued about this product when i first saw it as i thought it was just an eye shadow pencil but i claims due to its angled nib it can be used as a fine liner, for a thicker line and as a full shadow across the hole eye. It was available in a few shades but i chose gun Metal as it is a favourite colour of eye shadow of mine.

£1.50 from superdrug

2 MUA Instense colour eye liner - one in 'Royal Blue' and one in 'Rich Brown'

I thought i would try their pencil eye liner and i was in the market for a brown eye liner. I was not quite brave enough to try the liquid eye liner, i may do in the future. Anyway these were only £1 each so didn't brake the bank.

MUA Fur-effect Nails - YES! FUR EFFECT!

Ok so i must admit i spent £3 on this. But i have noticed that they are selling a lot of interesting nail art things at the moment such as the magnetic nail varnish. Now this product says to paint two coats of nail varnish then while the second coat is wet dip it in the lid after you have shuck the product through the holes. Ok so when i tried this this did not work, i am wearing faulse nails and found that dipping the nails into the pot just scuffed my varnish. I found that just picking up the product and sprinkling it over the wet nails and tapping off the excess works the best. Now i will have to see how long it last and wether stuff like washing you hands takes it off but we will see. Here is a picture of my first attempt.

FREE THINGS!

Ok so one of the main reasons that i brought quite a few things from MUA this time was cos they had an offer where when you spent £6 or more on MUA stuff you got this free 'The artiste collection' palette, which i thought was quite nice really and i have never tried any MUA eye shadows before. So this palette sells for £6 if you want to just buy it on its own. and contained 6 Marbled eye shadows, 2 blushes, 1 bronzer and 1 highlighter. I am defiantly gonna give this a go, i think it may be good for chucking in your bag for touch ups and things as its quite compact. so yep, good free things.

So in total i spent £6.50 on this stuff which i think is a good deal!

I hope you had a good new year and enjoy 2013! :)
